Situational Judgement practice
A situational judgement exercise appears in several on-board processes, either as a named test in an online battery or as the customer-service and judgement assessment sat before the rest of the stages. Scenarios are drawn from on-train life — disruption, revenue disputes, an unwell passenger, a colleague cutting a corner — and ask you to judge responses rather than pick a single right answer.
What this exercise is measuring
Judgement under competing pressures: safety first, then the passenger, then the timetable — and knowing which of those wins when they conflict.
Compiled from publicly posted applicant accounts and operator job adverts, September 2026. Processes change without notice — your invitation letter is the only authority on what you will sit. Every scenario is written from scratch by us, and our marking key matches no operator's.
